Puddles on Jalan Budi Kemuliaan and Jalan H Agus Salim Receded

The puddle that had inundated Jalan Budi Kemuliaan and Jalan Haji Agus Salim, Gambir Sub-district, Central Jakarta had receded on Friday (9/9) night. The water had receded less than an hour after the rain subsided.

Puddle on Jalan Haji Agus Salim has receded at around 8 PM

Gambir Sub-district Water Resources (SDA) Executing Unit Head, M Imawan said that eight personnel deployed to the location after heavy rain in the afternoon.

"We send them to check gutters," he expressed.

Inundation on Jalan DI Panjaitan Receded as Rain Stops

According to him, the puddle on Jalan Budi Kemuliaan was about 10 centimeters high and Jalan Haji Agus Salim was about 15 centimeters high when it rained heavily. It was caused after the Abdul Muis River overflowed.

"Puddle on Jalan Haji Agus Salim was also caused by a utility pipe project that disrupted the flow of water into the water channel," he explained.

Then puddle on Jalan Budi Kemuliaan receded after the water level of the Abdul Muis River dropped at around 7 PM.

"Puddle on Jalan Haji Agus Salim has receded at around 8 PM," he closed.
